Role of the Behavior Point of Contact:

  1. Coordinate access to behavioral health services for students and families.
  2.  Inform families about school based and community resources.
  3. Facilitate student access to services during the school day at their school.

  • The Nebraska Network of Care
    This is a statewide registry selected to provide Behavioral Health resources to support students, schools, students, and families.
  • Safe2Help Hotline
    Safe2HelpNE is a report system designed for students, staff, and parents to anonymously report concerning behavior which could impact the safety of students or schools across Nebraska. Visit the website at https://safe2helpne.com/ or call 833-980-7233.
  • Nebraska Family HelpLine
    The helpline allows families to obtain assistance by providing a single contact point 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Trained helpline operators screen calls to assess immediate safety needs, identify the potential level of a behavioral health crisis, make recommendations or provide referrals to appropriate resources. Call 888-866-8660.
  • 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline

    The 988 Lifeline provides 24/7, free and confidential support for people in distress, prevention and crisis resources for you or your loved ones, and best practices for professionals. Visit the website at https://988lifeline.org/ or call 988.
